Daesh Claims Attack on Libya's Foreign Ministry

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) claimed responsibility for an attack on Libya’s Foreign Ministry in Tripoli, the group said early on Wednesday on its news agency Amaq.

The terrorist group said three of its members carried out the attack that killed at least two people on Tuesday.

The three attackers began their assault with a car bomb, damaging vehicles and buildings, and then opened fire on the ministry, a security source said, Reuters reported.

Two managed to get inside and blow themselves up. The other was killed by ministry guards.
